Well, we got two of the monkeys for our new baby who isn't here yet, but my daughter who is 15 months saw them and immediately LOVED it! She had a bear she slept with that wasn't washable and was coming apart and dirty so I was going to replace it with another bear. But I guess we won't need to. She's been carrying the really soft monkey everywhere and snuggles it all the time. we'll be getting the brown puppy for our new son.

So I was looking for a blankie for my son. His room is monkeys so I thought this would be great; however, I was expecting a blanket sized item (My fault really because I clearly did not understand what 14" x 14' would look like). I expected a blanket and got a washcloth. My son does not use it to hold or play with. This will not be used in our house; well, I will probably use it as a fun washcloth. But he will not use it for the purpose intended.
For people who know what a "lovey" is (and that is what you are looking for) then this product will not disappoint. It is a quality item, soft and well made. The monkey is cute and the fabric is durable. It is simply not what I was looking for.

This blankie is awesome - it's my son's "lovey" since he was 6 mos old (he instantly just loved it) and he still sleeps it with every night and just absolutely loves it like no other stuffed animal, blanket, etc. And it really is the cutest blanket - just adorable - I'm so glad this was this chosen "lovey"!! We aslo gave this as a gift for our cousin when he was born and he's had same exact instant love/attraction. It's magic! :)

We could not live without "Raffie" our giraffe Angel Dear lovey. I bought three - one for home, one for daycare and one for "just in case." They wash beautifully and hold up well. Our giraffes have been well-loved for more than two years and are still in excellent condition. The only negative is deciding which of the cute animals to bring home!

My daughter is totally attached to the pink giraffe. I have about 4 of the same one so I can at least keep one on hand while the others are in the wash. She loves to suck on the ears of the giraffe before she falls asleep. With multiple washings a week, the lovey have kept up well. Totally adorable!
