Product Description Get the checkered flag with Lightening McQueen! This fun cake pan measures 13 3/4" x 6 1/4" x 2 3/4"D. Pan is made of aluminum and easy to clean. Easy to follow decorating instructions are included.
Amazon.com Review If they liked the movie, they'll love the cake even more! Fashioned after Lightning McQueen, the zippy celebrity from Disney/Pixar's "Cars," this aluminum cake pan features the low-riding racing speedster with a "95" and lightning bolt logo, big eyes and happy smile, and lots of realistic accents including headlights and aerodynamic lines. Aluminum is an ideal material for baking cakes because it heats evenly and keeps insides moist while surfaces gently brown. Lightweight yet durable, it also retains its shape and transfers detailing clearly to the cake surface. When the party's over, the pan cleans easily so there's less time spent in the kitchen washing up-that'll certainly raise a cheer from moms! The one-mix pan measures 13-3/4 by 6-1/4 by 2-3/4, so it large enough to feed a whole crew pit's worth of young birthday or sleepover revelers. To recreate Lightning McQueen with accuracy, the pan comes complete with a recipe and decorating instructions. --Kara Karll

| Customer Reviews: It did the job! July 12, 2009 A Happy Mommy (Maui, HI) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The pan worked out well. It requires one box cake mix. My issues with the pan are first, it was extremely difficult to grease and flour the pan. Second, after it bakes it was hard to see where some of the details where, such as the lightning bolt above the tire, the headlights, the lightning bolt with the number 95, and the number 95 itself. Third, for some reason they placed the purchase logo right over the most complicated area of the design. There is a smaller photo inside so you can still see, but it was a bit frustrating. The cake turned out great none the less. I realized after purchasing this pan there would be no place to write Happy Birthday for my son. I also thought the pan looked small, so I baked a larger square cake base to set this one on. It created a neat 3-D effect, and I was able to write Happy Birthday and create a neat Radiator Springs backdrop. Happy Baking!
Lighting McQueen cake pan March 3, 2009 N. Bertrand (Wood Lake MN) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My first thought upon seeing this pan was it was very small. However, my
opinion changed when I baked my first cake in it. It did hold an entire
boxed cake mix & the cake turned out excellent! I expect to make many more "Cars" cakes for my nephew!
Cars cake pan December 2, 2007 Pat L. Rimmer (Missouri, USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Fun to decorate with the little ones but takes a lot of colors and each color is deep so it takes great deal of colorant. Be prepared for stained mouths and clothes when eating the cake.
Small pan and edges hard to define. October 11, 2007 L. Uekman 2 out of 5 found this review helpful
This pan was about 1/2 of a regular size cake pan and now I know why. It takes forever to decorate. When the cake is baked the outlines you need to follow are very hard to define and you have to use so many different colors of icing that it takes a very long time. If you are going to buy this pan then be prepared to spend about 5 hours decorating something that will be eaten in 5 minutes!
